What is Mental Health?


Mental Health covers a range of problems.

Most of us will, at some stage in our lives, experience stressful situations that can make us very depressed or agitated. We see it as a normal part of life, but for others these feelings can become a real problem, affecting the ability to carry on with life in a “normal” manner. This could be triggered by some unforeseen event; however there are some people that develop mental ill health for no apparent reason. It is often hard to know which way to turn, and who to ask for help!



The solution is not always medication. By using a prescribed stepped approach professionals are able to determine the correct Level Interventions that should be implemented, speeding the recovery process of the individual.
