What is an intervention?

An intervention is an activity or treatment that we know can be helpful in fighting the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. When talking about stress, anxiety and depression we use the term ’Common Mental Health problems’

Level 3 Guidance

Some face-to-face psychological therapies are recommended for some of the more severe symptoms, these are usually accessed through a referral from your General Practitioner and provide services to help you manage and reduce the effect of your symptoms. Sometimes people need longer-term support to get back on their feet and, these interventions help people over that longer-term period.
